Where I've worked
Aug 2025 – Present
NZ Artisan, Wellington · Part-time
Delivering customer service in a fast-paced NZ retail environment while managing full-time master's study — building strong communication, adaptability, and time management skills.
Sept 2024 – June 2025
Qualizeal, India
Contributed to an internal AI-based software tool using Python in an agile team. Built Selenium-based test automation workflows in Java and participated in sprints, code reviews, and stakeholder requirement gathering.
April 2023 – June 2023
Microsoft, India
Configured Microsoft Azure Recovery Service agents using Python and C# to automate enterprise cloud backup workflows. Implemented an OTP-based verification system for secure file modification.
What I've built
A sustainability social media app built at VUW Hackathon. Users track, share, and reduce their carbon footprint through community-driven habit tracking.

Things I randomly came across that genuinely surprised or excited me — not structured learning, just curiosity. Updated whenever I find something worth sharing.
What is MCP (Model Context Protocol)?
Randomly came across MCP — a protocol by Anthropic that lets AI models like Claude connect to external tools and APIs in a standardised way. Basically lets AI "plug in" to real systems. Mind-blowing how fast AI tooling is moving.

GitHub Copilot can now review PRs
GitHub Copilot now does automated pull request reviews — spots bugs and explains reasoning. As someone just starting code reviews, this feels like a huge deal for junior devs.

Deepfake detection is an arms race
While building my deepfake project I found research showing detection models and generation models keep adapting to fool each other. Made me think differently about what "accuracy" means in security contexts.

Docker Desktop is free again for everyone
After restricting free usage, Docker reversed course. Found this while setting up my FastAPI project with docker-compose — good timing since I'm just getting into containerisation.

PostgreSQL is 30 years old — and still the most loved
PostgreSQL turned 30 and was voted most loved database for the 5th year running in the Stack Overflow survey. Had no idea it was that old — makes me appreciate learning it properly.

FastAPI is now more starred than Flask on GitHub
Discovered FastAPI overtook Flask in GitHub stars. The fact I'm learning the most in-demand Python framework right now feels perfectly timed — async support and auto OpenAPI docs are the big reasons.
